Summer is finally here in Australia! If you know me, you'd know that my summer staples are shorts. I never get tired of shopping for a new pair of shorts! That's why I decided to sew a summer-y pair of shorts to add to my wardrobe.
Because I lost my hair due to chemo, I've been wearing head wraps. Although I was never one to wear head wraps and turbans before, I've really come to love the look now. It's given me the chance to embrace the boho style and so I decided to sew a boho-inspired skirt to complete the look.

As I fight cancer, people tell me to “be brave” or “be courageous”. While I always appreciate the sentiment and the thought, I never really understood the words.
If someone says "be brave while you fight cancer", what do they even mean by it? Because no matter what anyone says, I’m still gonna be afraid of needles. I even cried during an injection once while I was in hospital!
